2023 brings us to a new place in the 20-year ministry partnership between Impact Ministries Uganda and Frist Love Ministries USA.
With the unexpected passing of Partick & Christine Okabe into the presence of Jesus, our trust and faith are securely focused on the Resurrection Hope of Christ our LORD!
Patrick Okabe was known and loved as: “Bishop” – “MP” – “Father” – “Papa” – “Pastor” – “Brother in Christ” and “Ministry Partner”!
Patrick and Christine served their LORD Jesus well and left a wonderful legacy of Christ focused service and obedience.
Patrick was such a blessing to all of those who knew him personally and for all those who benefited from all that GOD’s Spirit accomplished through this willing and faithful servant!
As we move into 2023 all areas of Patrick’s ministry will be carried on by his sons Daniel & Emma, with tech and media support from Sammy who will stay in Australia.
Emma will be relocating with his family (Wife and three sons – Photo below) and will partner with Daniel in all areas of the ministry partnership with First Love Ministries USA.
Please do pray also for Patrick and Christine’s daughters: Marlyn and Lydia who live in Texas and had a very close and loving relationship with their mother and father.
Below is an update from Daniel to start the new year and announcing a special Celebration of Life they are having for the children at the orphanage to give them some perspective and closure to all that has disrupted and traumatized their lives over the last two weeks.
Dear Friends,
We greet you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ in the New Year 2023!
We are thankful to God for bringing us though the tragic loss of my parents.
By God’s comfort and your prayers, we are growing stronger and focused in continuing to serve God through the new year.
We are thankful for the love and prayer support for last year, for all those who stood with us during 2022, to the very difficult end!
We must trust and believe in God for our strength and comfort as we refocus our lives as we enter 2023.
The orphanage and radio ministry are all running well, and everyone has come together to continue with Papa’s legacy of love and compassion for Gods glory.
We are thankful for your prayers and financial support, as we serve the needs of the children at the orphanage and broadcast the Good News of Jesus at Faith Radio Uganda.
My older brother Emma and I will be working together to oversee the ministry operations of Impact Ministries Uganda:
Orphanage, Faith Radio and Mother Church – as well as the training and oversight of the affiliated Village Churches.
We are praying for you, our ministry partners, and we are thankful for your prayers for us.
