Greetings from Impact Ministries Uganda.
We continue to carry on with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ with love and compassion. Throughout 2021 the Lord provided for all the needs of the orphans, even with all the extra expenses and increased costs resulting from the total lockdowns caused by Covid.
We are thankful to all our generous supporters who have stood with us to provide for the daily needs of the nearly 600 orphans we serve 24/7 each month at the orphanage. We pray that you will stand with us through 2022.
As an example of the children we serve, we recently admitted twin sisters Elizabeth and Mary (dressed in green & black in photo above). The sisters were orphaned when both parents died of HIV/AIDS. They are only 4 years old and needed a safe home that would look after them immediately. They were referred to Impact Orphanage and we admitted them right away with the love of Jesus! Elizabeth and Mary have adapted to the orphanage environment and the other children right away, and they are doing very well.
We are challenged with new children arriving at the orphanage on a regular basis, but we only have room for so many. So, please pray for us as we work to prepare to older children to leave the only “home” they have known for so many years. Our Skills Training Center was created in 2021 to give these teenagers the skills and training they will need. As heart breaking as it is, we must continue to send away the children who have grown up in the orphanage to start a life of their own, thereby creating room for the younger children.
Our prayer is that Jesus Christ would be glorified in all we do for the orphans, and that the loving Father in Heaven will continue to provide for us through the generous giving and daily prayers of our ministry partners.
Please also pray for the Faith Radio ministry, which is growing in its impact and touching thousands of listeners through the good news Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Also pray for our Mother Church where all our ministry vision was born, it is in desperate need of completion (See attached photos). We are still having Sunday services under the sun and at times under the rain. Please pray for special gifts to complete the construction ($47,000).
