Orphans Need Your Help – Please Read and Pray
Samuel is 12 years old, and he joined the orphanage at age 6 after living on the streets of Mbale. His mother had been raped, and the father disowned him and his mother. He was born on the roadside in Mbale and grew up on the streets. His mother was accidentally knocked down by a speeding motorbike that killed her, leaving Samiel helpless with no option but to beg on the streets. One of our staff found him and brought him to the Impact Orphanage. Samuel needed the love and care of Jesus. The orphanage became his first real home. Samuel has made many friends, enjoys the fellowship of all the brothers and sisters. The orphanage has become a source of hope and security for Samuel, just as it does for all the boys and girls we care for. He loves to play soccer and he has become a very happy boy. Samuel is learning how to trust Jesus in all he is about!
This is Aisha. She is ten years old and joined the orphanage at 5 yrs. Aisha is an orphan who lost both her parents due to HIV at the age of 3. She was taken under the care of her Auntie but her Auntie had an accident and became disabled and could not care for her anymore. One of the church elders at Impact Ministries knew about Aisha. She brought Aisha to the orphanage where she has made a new home with many new friends that make her happy and secure. At the orphanage she got to know about the love of Jesus and now Aisha is flourishing. She is receiving a Christ centered education, which is very important having come from a Muslim background. Aisha loves to teach other kids the Bible and She wants to become a nurse so she can take care of the sick. Continue praying for Aisha that she will be the light of Jesus to all those around her.
