Shamim is 7 years old and joined the orphanage at 5. Shamim left in the care of her stepmother when her mother died. He father was a polygamous with other wives. So Shamim ended up in the hands of an abusive stepmother.

Her stepmother tied her up every day and beat her, claiming Shamim’s mother was a witch.

One day her stepmom starved her, with no food for two days. The issue was brought to the police attention who took Shamim and brought her to the orphanage for care.

Shamim received Christ at the orphanage and denounced Islam. Today she loves singing for Jesus her savior in the Children’s Church Choir.

Her father disowned her because she left Islam. She says when she grows up, she wants to speak up for the Girl Child in Uganda.

We praise God for Shamim’s life transformation. God is the father to the fatherless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
