This is Betty, she is 5 years old and joined the orphanage at the age of two. Betty lost both her parents to AIDS at the age of 2. Her parents attend Impact Ministries Mother Church.
At that time, we took Betty into our family at the orphanage and shared the love of Jesus with her from the moment she arrived.
Betty has grown and prospered at the orphanage with her new brothers and sisters. She loves to play netball with her friends who are just like her.
She also loves to sing Bible songs. Betty is happy and we are blessed to have her as part of the Orphanage family.
Jackie is six years old and came to the orphanage at four. Her Father died from HIV when she was two and her mother died from malaria four years later.
She was taken by her Uncle, but she was exposed to child labor and abuse. Jackie still has scars on her back from the beatings from her uncle.
The issue was reported to the police who brought her to the orphanage for safety.
Jackie is shy and does not talk much as a result of the abuse of her uncle.
We are sharing the love of Jesus with her each day and Jackie is beginning to make new friends. Her best friend is Lisa, they are the same age and love playing together. Jackie loves reading and writing.
