By the Grace of GOD we now serve 525 children at the orphanage in the eternal hope and love of Jesus Christ. As a result of Covid by the end of 2022 we had 600 children housed at the orphanage. At the first of the year 75 of the older children had completed their secondary schooling and were processed out to begin their independent lives in the local towns and villages.
For 20 years (24/7) we have feed, clothed, housed, educated and have provided for the children’s medical needs with the loving touch of Jesus Christ. This has all happened as a direct result of the monthly support and special gifts of those who have partnered with FLMUSA over the past 20 years.
We are now challenged with increased costs for food and most everything else we need to operate the orphanage. We also will need funds to help the 75 young adults who were just released to adjust to living independently.
Faith Radio Uganda is a major part of the overall evangelistic mission of FLMUSA. The Faith Radio broadcast signal reaches over 7 million and is focused on proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. We urgently need special gifts at this time to replace our backup generators, and also require a backup transmitter to continue broadcasting the Gospel 24/7.
Please pray that all who receive this report will pray for us, and that those who are able will be led to partner with us to serve all those entrusted to our care. We are trusting in the LORD each month, one day at a time!
