Pleased attached are photos of Moses and Phiona, these two children have most outstanding life changing stories.
Moses was dumped at our church by his mother when he was only 8 months and now, he is eight and studying in primary school.
Phiona, now 13 years old was brought to the orphanage when at 6 years of age her stepmother hacked off her hand and gave her deep scars on the head. Phiona is now studying in secondary school. She has been refused schooling in the village because the children were laughing at her for having only one hand.
Moses and Phiona have found Christ’s love at Impact Orphanage. When Phiona first arrived we made an appeal for $5000 to help her get an artificial hand but we were not successful. Please do bring this appeal up again.
Impact Orphanage in Uganda continues to Impact Lives. Despite the challenges we face each day. Currently there is drought and high temperatures as well as scarcity of food. This makes the cost of food high, and we have to adjust accordingly.
Our staff is dedicated to their work and continue to serve the Lord. We have been able to work together as a team and give the necessary services to the children.
Pray for Moses, as he has breathing problems, we are taking him for a chest X-ray. Moses has always had health challenges. Another boy Joseph has asthma. He also is getting treatment. Please pray for both of them.
One of the reasons we desperately need to expand the medical clinic is to allow room for us to isolate sick children in a ward until they recover. We only have two beds in the clinic now because we lack room. Please pray with us for provision of funds.
Other departments of Impact Ministries Uganda are continuing to Impact lives. Faith Radio is running well now. Pray for our upcoming Gospel outreach Crusade in Aloet Sub County. We already have a church there, but it is not growling because Islam is very strong there. Also, there is a cult religion which has misled many in that area.
We seek your prayers and support so that we can continue lifting Jesus Higher in our country. We pray for you all and trust God each day for your welfare.
