Jesus Loves Orphans – Please Pray! 11-29-25

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”

“… whatever you did for one of the least of these …, you did for me.’”

Naomi is 9 years old and she came to us when she was 6 years old. She had lost both of her parents to HIV/AIDS, leaving her without a home. After her parents passed, Naomi lived with her aunt, who did her best to care for her.

However, due to extreme financial hardship, her aunt could no longer provide for Naomi’s needs. Knowing Naomi needed a safe place to grow and thrive, she reached out to the orphanage and asked if we could take her in.

Since coming here, Naomi has found a loving home, stability, and a supportive community. She now lives among other children who have faced similar challenges, and she is flourishing. Naomi is experiencing the love of Jesus and is joyful, kind-hearted, and full of energy. Her best friend is Abigail, the two enjoy playing netball together and are inseparable.

Prossy is now 10 years old. She joined the orphanage at the age of 5 after living with her stepmother, who subjected her to abuse, hard labor, and mistreatment. Her father also passed away due to alcoholism and her mother passed away while giving birth to Prossy.

Concerned neighbors reported that Prossy was neglected and often went hungry. We welcomed her into the orphanage and provided her with a Christ-centered home.

Prossy is full of joy and smiles when she signs about Jesus. She loves sports, especially netball and enjoys drawing. She wants to become a painter and artist someday.

Prossy loves Jesus and is thankful for all her brothers and sisters at the orphanage.

Annet is a joy to be around; she loves singing, dancing and reading the Bible. Her favorite part of the Bible is Psalm 23 “The Lord is my Shepherd”.
