Jesus Loves the Little Children and Blesses all those who feed and care for them!
Their mother died and the father abandoned them, 3 year old triplets – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Those are the names the mother gave her three little boys before she died. They have nowhere to go, no one to care for them!
While visiting a village about 35 miles from Impact Ministries headquarters, I met these triplets born 3 years ago. When I heard their story I was deeply touched. These children have nowhere to go, but because of the Covid-lockdown Impact orphanage cannot take in new children. They are now in the hands of neighbors who may abandon them at any time. We will work to bring them to the orphanage as soon as possible.
God has called us to deal with the broken lives and destitute children. We bring them into Impact orphanage to share the love of Jesus by providing a bed, food, medicine, clothing and education.
Children who in the slums are living shacks made of sticks and scrap metal, sleeping on the hard dirt without even a blanket. They have little to eat and go to bed hungry most every day. Children are left alone day after day to fend for themselves.
Members of our orphanage team identify those in greatest need and bring them to the orphanage where they find the security of a home filled with the love of Jesus Christ. Children who can’t read or write attend school and are given God’s Word each day. It takes a lot of work to change a life, but it is all well worth it!
We are fighting the good fight for the orphans, and God makes it clear that it is worthwhile – for it is His will!
God’s Word makes it very clear, compassion for orphans is where we meet our Lord Jesus in true worship!
“I will not leave you as orphans. I will come to you.” (John 14:18)
Our ministry team here in Uganda, and you in the USA, are being used by our Father God in Heaven to bring the love and eternal hope of Jesus into the lives of more +550 orphan children who have no one else to care for their needs.
We are currently experiencing the hardest and most trying time in the history of our ministry. We have a critical situation with the parcel of land next to the orphanage (please see below).
Your prayers and the Grace of God are what is keeping our faith alive!
We are being “pressed on all sides”, but we know that “God’s power is made perfect in our weakness.”

The playground and the land we use for growing vegetables for the orphanage has been used by us since 2002. It is land which is over one acre and lies next to the church and orphanage. This land is not titled.
Some anti – Christian staff in the Municipal council and some Muslims started eying this very good piece of land next to the riverside and began to challenge our ownership. We as Impact Ministries committed to apply for this land and pay the required money so we can legally possess the land. Since we are the sitting tenants, the ministry has been granted the opportunity to legalize ownership after paying $50,000 in Premium, land rates and municipal council Fees.
Please we are appealing to our friends and donors who have stood with us over the years to help us acquire this land. This land is so vital for the expansion of the orphanage and it is also used as the playground for the orphanage. It is by the river side and good for the growing of vegetables for the orphanage. In future we will construct more buildings on the land. If we lose this land it will be owned by Muslims and they will build a mosque and a Muslim school near our church.
We are on our knees pleading with God for Christ to have victory at this time!
